Arabic
قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ، قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ، قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ
- Transliteration
- Qul huwallahu ahad; qul a'udhu birabbil-falaq; qul a'udhu birabbin-nas.
- Meaning
- Recite Surah Al-Ikhlas, Al-Falaq and An-Nas (recite them into your palms, blow into them, and wipe them over your body).
When it is recited
Practised at night when getting into bed: the three surahs are recited and blown into the palms, then wiped over the body starting from the head (three times).
Virtue
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) recited these three surahs, blew into his palms and wiped them over his body every night before sleeping.
