- Meaning
- The Messenger believed in what was sent down to him from his Lord, and so did the believers. All of them believed in Allah, His angels, His books and His messengers; they said, “We make no distinction between any of His messengers.” And they said, “We hear and we obey. We seek Your forgiveness, our Lord, and to You is the return.” Allah does not burden any soul with more than it can bear. Whatever good a person earns is for them, and whatever evil they earn is against them. “Our Lord, do not hold us accountable if we forget or make a mistake. Our Lord, do not lay upon us a burden like the one You laid upon those before us. Our Lord, do not burden us with what we have no strength to bear. Pardon us, forgive us and have mercy on us. You are our protector, so help us against the disbelieving people.”

Ayatul Kursi
Allah: there is no god but Him, the Ever Living, the Sustainer of all. Neither drowsiness nor sleep overtakes Him. To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and on the earth. Who can intercede with Him without His permission? He knows what is before them and what is behind them. They cannot encompass anything of His knowledge except what He wills. His Kursi extends over the heavens and the earth, and preserving them is not a burden to Him. He is the Most High, the Most Great.
