Our purpose
molla.az is an information library, not a blog or news website. Our purpose is to present religious information needed in daily life clearly, accessibly, and accurately.
Whether someone is looking for the interpretation of a dream, the meaning of a name, a dua, or the story of a prophet, they should be able to find a useful and accurate answer quickly.
What we provide
The website has six main sections: Dream Interpretation, Names, Duas, Prophets, the 99 Names of Allah, and Hajj and Umrah. It also includes practical tools for calculating Zakat, finding the Qibla, checking prayer times, and converting between Hijri and Gregorian dates.

- Names researched for their meanings, origins, and religious usage.
- Duas with Arabic text, a Latin-script transliteration, and their meanings.
- Prophets named in the Quran, with accounts of their lives and lessons.
Sources and methodology
Every item is researched using at least two independent sources and, where possible, checked against sources in different languages, including Arabic, Turkish, and English. For religious content, our primary sources are the Quran through quran.com and authentic hadith collections, including Sahih al-Bukhari, Sahih Muslim, and sunnah.com.
Quran verses and hadiths are shown with direct references to their sources. We write in our own words and use sources to verify meaning, origin, and religious rulings. We do not include unverified reports, including Isra'iliyyat, as facts. Information that is not certain is clearly qualified as a report or tradition.
Respect across schools of thought
molla.az respects both Sunni and Shia traditions and presents neutral information. We do not take sides on disputed questions between schools of thought. We focus on reliable information that is broadly shared and accepted.
Our purpose is not to emphasise differences, but to make trustworthy knowledge accessible to everyone.
