اللَّهُمَّ أَهِلَّهُ عَلَيْنَا بِالْأَمْنِ وَالْإِيمَانِ وَالسَّلَامَةِ وَالْإِسْلَامِ، رَبِّي وَرَبُّكَ اللَّهُ
- Transliteration
- Allahumma ahillahu alayna bil-amni wal-imani was-salamati wal-islam, Rabbi wa Rabbukallah.
- Meaning
- O Allah, cause this moon to rise over us with security, faith, safety, and Islam. My Lord and your Lord is Allah.

It is recited on seeing the crescent of the new moon, or on learning that a new Hijri month has begun.

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would recite this dua on seeing the new moon, asking Allah for security, faith, and safety for that month.

It is reported from Talha ibn Ubaydullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would recite this dua on seeing the new moon; the hadith is graded hasan.
