اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ
- Transliteration
- Allahumma inni as'aluka min fadlik.
- Meaning
- O Allah! I ask You for Your bounty.
When it is recited
It is recited when leaving the mosque, usually with the left foot; on entering, “Allahummaftah li abwaba rahmatik” is said.
Virtue
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) taught asking for mercy on entering the mosque, and for Allah's bounty and lawful provision on leaving.
