اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ هَٰذِهِ الدَّعْوَةِ التَّامَّةِ وَالصَّلَاةِ الْقَائِمَةِ آتِ مُحَمَّدًا الْوَسِيلَةَ وَالْفَضِيلَةَ وَابْعَثْهُ مَقَامًا مَحْمُودًا الَّذِي وَعَدْتَهُ
- Transliteration
- Allahumma Rabba hadhihid-da'watit-tammati was-salatil-qa'imati, ati Muhammadanil-wasilata wal-fadilata, wab'athhu maqaman mahmudanilladhi wa'adtah.
- Meaning
- O Lord of this perfect call and of the prayer about to be established! Grant Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) the wasilah and the excellence, and raise him to the praised station (Maqam Mahmud) that You have promised him.
When it is recited
It is recited after the muezzin finishes the adhan and its words have been repeated, before the prayer.
Virtue
According to the hadith, whoever recites this dua after the adhan will be granted the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) intercession on the Day of Judgment.

It is reported from Jabir ibn Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said that whoever recites this dua after the adhan will receive his intercession on the Day of Judgment.
