اللَّهُمَّ أَطْعِمْ مَنْ أَطْعَمَنِي وَاسْقِ مَنْ سَقَانِي
- Transliteration
- Allahumma at'im man at'amani wasqi man saqani.
- Meaning
- O Allah, feed the one who has fed me, and give drink to the one who has given me drink.

Virtue
It was part of the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) beautiful character to pray to Allah for the person who fed him rather than thank them directly, and doing so expresses the guest's gratitude toward the host.
