رَبِّ أَوْزِعْنِي أَنْ أَشْكُرَ نِعْمَتَكَ
Dua for the rectification of offspring
My Lord, enable me to be thankful for the favour You have bestowed upon me and my parents, and to do righteous deeds that please You. Set my offspring right for me. Indeed, I have repented to You, and I am one of the Muslims.
Surah Al-Ahqaf, 15رَبِّ لَا تَذَرْنِي فَرْدًا
Dua of Prophet Zakariyya for a child
My Lord, do not leave me alone (without offspring), while You are the best of inheritors.
Surah Al-Anbiya, 89رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لَنَا وَلِإِخْوَانِنَا
Dua of forgiveness for the believers
Our Lord, forgive us and our brothers who preceded us in faith. Do not let there be in our hearts any resentment toward those who believe. Our Lord, indeed You are Full of Kindness, Most Merciful.
Surah Al-Hashr, 10رَبَّنَا وَأَدْخِلْهُمْ جَنَّاتِ عَدْنٍ
Dua for a believing family
Our Lord, admit them to the gardens of Eden which You have promised them, together with whoever among their fathers, spouses and offspring was righteous. Indeed, You are the Almighty, the All-Wise.
Surah Ghafir, 8رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَلِوَالِدَيَّ
Dua of Prophet Nuh for forgiveness
My Lord, forgive me, my parents, whoever enters my house as a believer, and all believing men and believing women.
Surah Nuh, 28رَبِّ هَبْ لِي مِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ
Dua for righteous children
My Lord, grant me (a child) from among the righteous.
Surah As-Saffat, 100رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لِي وَلِوَالِدَيَّ وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
Dua of forgiveness for mother and father
Our Lord, forgive me, my parents, and all the believers on the Day when the reckoning is established.
Surah Ibrahim, 41رَبِّ اجْعَلْنِي مُقِيمَ الصَّلَاةِ وَمِنْ ذُرِّيَّتِي
Dua for offspring who establish the prayer
My Lord, make me an establisher of prayer, and [many] from my descendants. Our Lord, and accept my supplication.
Surah Ibrahim, 40رَبِّ ارْحَمْهُمَا كَمَا رَبَّيَانِي صَغِيرًا
Dua for parents
My Lord, have mercy on them, just as they raised me when I was young.
Surah Al-Isra, 24رَبَّنَا هَبْ لَنَا مِنْ أَزْوَاجِنَا وَذُرِّيَّاتِنَا قُرَّةَ أَعْيُنٍ
Dua for family and offspring
Our Lord, grant us from our spouses and offspring the comfort of our eyes, and make us leaders for the righteous.
Surah Al-Furqan, 74رَبِّ هَبْ لِي مِن لَّدُنكَ ذُرِّيَّةً طَيِّبَةً
Dua for children
My Lord, grant me from Yourself pure (righteous) offspring. Indeed, You are the Hearer of prayer.
Surah Ali Imran, 38بَارَكَ اللَّهُ لَكَ وَبَارَكَ عَلَيْكَ
Dua for marriage
May Allah bless you, grant you blessings, and join the two of you together in goodness.
